Guild Application
Guild IntroductionThe kind of players we're looking for are nice and rational people who think before their actions and don't randomly spout insulting nonsense. WoW is a videogame played for entertainment, why would you ruin that by ruining the experience of other players? That's not what we're about, we want players in general, whether in the guild or outside to have a great time playing. Don't forget about being social either, we only add players that will be a part of our community, you can't be 'just a raider'!
- Be a nice person, to guildies, to everyone (who deserves it)!
Here's the part you're probably looking for; Raiding. Well in raiding the same rules count, we don't accept any raiders that are antisocial or just plain twats. We want players with common sense who will add to the community as well as the raid team, what's the point in raiding if you're not doing it with people you like? We want players that would rather teach/learn than give up and rage. We want players that add to the raid/guild more than just be a way to gain progress or loot.
- Just because you're a raider doesn't give you an excuse to be antisocial or a jerk.
Next to that we're a trade-friendly guild, items and gold aren't everything, we're a trade-friendly guild. To eachother we don't charge the full price and don't rip eachother off, because really (I'm going to sound so cheesy here), friendship is worth more than possessions and helping eachother out on the material part can only make things better! Don't expect to be given anything for free though, you still have to do your own part, don't expect a 10k loan while you're 10 minutes into the guild (or well generally, dont expect stuff). - Don't charge eachother for tradeskills or portals!
Now here's a fun part we're proud of and love to talk about, the guild management. We try to generally be more democratic than most guilds, listening to the players and the team instead of just doing things in self-interest. The guild leader and officers don't make a guild, everyone in the guild does, so we take it seriously to listen to the players and if someone has a valid opinion, it will be heard! One person can make a difference here! What does rank have to do with anything when you're dead wrong? Officer ranks can be attained over time and showing the skills you need to be an officer, which we won't tell you, if we think you're right, you'll be asked! Another fun point about the guild is that unlike 99% of the guilds these days, it's not lead by a corrupt core of IRL friends that give eachother advantages for no apparent reason, original huh! - Don't expect to be an officer, just be yourself and we'll ask you!
If you're applying for a social rank, just fill in the blank with a stripe or something and specify it. Though don't expect a raider rank without properly applying for it. By the way if we don't accept you as a raider because for example you don't have the right gear or don't have the ''M@d Sk1llz' yet to raid with us, we can offer you a social rank in the guild where you can socialize with the guildies and train, afterwards you can re-apply every time you think you're ready! - Socials aren't taken to raids.
The last bit of this will be the ranks. We have 2 ranks for raiding and one social rank, let us explain:
